Party animals get ready...the ferocious lineup for Electric Zoo 2013 has finally been unleashed!!

Celebrating its 5th year anniversary, the three-day EDM festival will take place Labor Day Weekend (August 30th-September 1st) at its usual New York City location, Randall's Island. This year's 'Zoo' promises to be bigger and better as it now features two Main Stages (Main Stage East & Main Stage West) that will be occupied by some of the biggest DJ's in dance music including David Guetta, Avicii, Sebastian Ingrosso, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and many more!

"Every year we have been committed to improving the Electric Zoo experience for all of our fans. This year we decided to celebrate our fifth year anniversary by going bigger and adding a 2nd main stage with 30 more acts to celebrate our collective passion for dance music," state co-founders Laura De Palma & Mike Bindra of Made Event & Creators of Electric Zoo.

Another change that has been made to Electric Zoo 2013 is the elimination of the "under-ragers." EZoo 2013 will strictly be for party animals who are 18 and older, reports Dancing Astronaut. The festival has listened to fans' requests for this change, and has made the decision to follow the industry standard for electronic dance music festivals. Sorry baby ravers...looks like you'll be sitting this one out!

Three-Day General Admission passes are available for the electronic music extravaganza for $329 with VIP passes being sold for $649. According to their website, single day passes will only be available if the three-day passes do not sell out.

For new Zoo-goers, the event description states:

New York's Electronic Music Festival now in its 5th year, featured more than 100 of the world's biggest electronic music talent in 2012 with sold-out 110,000 capacity crowds over the weekend. The festival features DJs and live acts, providing the finest techno, trance, house, dubstep, electro, indie dance music and more in beautiful Randall's Island Park. Electric Zoo received a coveted IDMA nomination for 'Best U.S. Festival,' as well as positive press coverage from major media outlets...

Electric Zoo entered the scene in NYC five years ago, and since then it has seen attendees from 188 countries and all 50 states making the pilgrimage to the greatest city in the world to celebrate electronic dance music with like-minded fans and internationally renowned DJs and live acts. It is set in the lush landscape of Randall's Island, complete with exquisite views of the Manhattan Skyline and the East River, states E Shock Radio.

Randall's Island Park is located along the River between Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx. The grass event space where the Electric Zoo festival is held is an area of about 24 acres. In addition to the main stage, there will be several open air tents (The Hilltop, The Riverside and Made Event's fabled Sunday School Tent) for a multi-genre experience.

"The selection of artists is top notch here every year. Whereas many other festivals play it safe and stack their lineups with the most famous and the flavor of the month, the curators of Zoo love to switch it up year after year, introducing fresh new artists and interesting combinations," says LESSTHAN3.com.

Check out this year's ZOO lineup here, which promises to feature "more music, more space, and more fun" in 2013.
