Blindspot S01E15: Older Cutthroat Canyon Jaimie Alexander Sullivan Stapleton Premiere Recap

NBC continues with the midseason premiere of Blindspot. In episode 15, will Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) be able to solve another piece of the tattoo map in Older Cutthroat Canyon?

Jane shows up at Oscar's meet and is handed her new assignment; place a tracker inside the team's vehicle. Edgar (Rob Brown) wakes up and finds a gun pointed at his head. the masked man warns him not to investigate Carter's death. 

Elsewhere, a man in a wolf's mask steals a painting. Edgar gets chewed out by Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) because he came back with nothing. Patterson (Ashley Johnson) has hit a major clue, the burning rose on Jane's body. The investigation leads to an art gallery, which has been robbed. 

While Jane plants the tracker, Tasha (Audrey Esparza) though notices something is off with Edgar. Kurt discovers a bomb planted in a sculpture and shouts for everyone to leave. after the bomb explodes, Jane finds Kurt bleeding from the neck. 

Sarah is in the hospital room with her brother. Taking charge, Bethany wants the team to find the bomber responsible. Knowing where the artist lives, Edgar and Jane pretend to be hipsters as they investigate his apartment room. Realizing the artist is in danger, Jane busts through the door and gets shoot at.

The sniper is on the run as Tasha leads the search the search. Jane suddenly recognizes the sniper from a flashback. The sniper starts blasting away at Jane. After the sniper makes his escape,  Jane removes her radio and makes a run for it too. 

Kurt wakes up in the hospital and is given the update on the case. As Kurt gets back up, Jane makes a call to Oscar. As the team gets a lead, Jane discovers more about the sniper from Oscar. Though he's bleeding, Kurt refuses to go back to the hospital until Jane is safe.

Elsewhere, Jane and Oscar meet with a mechanic, who knows them both. The mechanic ends up getting shot by the sniper. Knowing Jane's life is in danger, Oscar doesn't want to lose her. At a shipyard, Kurt and his team find themselves at the sniper's hideout. The sniper is trying to stitch himself up as the arms sound off.

During the chase, the sniper has Kurt and the others trapped. Oscar is given directions to keep Jane safe, but she needs to know Kurt and the others are safe. Jane steals Oscar's car  and heads straight to the shipyard.

Jane arrives in the nick of time, but gets caught by the sniper. Kurt blasts his way out of his trap as Jane fights the sniper. Oscar takes a shot at the sniper and rams into him. They both fall over the railing and drop into the water. 

Bethany and Kurt gives Jane a yelling as she retells her side of the story. Knowing Sarah is in danger, Edgar doesn't want to investigate Jane. Edgar has to break Sarah's heart in order to protect her.

At their meeting spot, Jane finds Oscar alive. The sniper is still alive.
