The cast and crew of The Walking Dead continue to tease about the upcoming Season 6 finale, which is set to finally introduce Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan. Now, TWD executive producer David Alpert has just declared that the season finale will "melt the internet!"

Alpert recently spoke to Access Hollywood about this Sunday's episode, and the EP admitted that he is expecting his own colleagues to react in horror to the season finale.

"I am so excited to see the horrified faces on all my co-workers when I walk into the office Monday morning, because people are going to be losing their minds," Alpert declared.

The executive producer's statement is less about being a sadistic boss and more on just wanting to get the best possible reaction to the season finale. Alpert stated that "Last Day on Earth" is expected to have a profound effect on people.

"This weekend's episode is going to melt the internet," he added.

OK, so it certainly sounds that there is a lot to look forward to in the season finale. But is it enough to make fans weep while literally losing their bowels in their pants? Alpert recommends that everyone has to be prepared for it.

"I suggest diapers and tissues," he said.

We thought so. In addition to the massively-hyped arrival of Negan, the episode will expected to find Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) group and in their own kind of peril.

Maggie (Lauren Cohan) may have just gotten a cute pixie haircut but she uffered severe abdominal pains that suggest she might lose her baby. Meanwhile, Carol (Melissa McBride) is nowhere to be found and Morgan (Lennie James) is also out there looking for her. Daryl's (Norman Reedus) fate is still unknown, but we all know that he was shot in the final moment of the previous episode.

But what will happen to Glenn (Steven Yeun), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rosita (Christian Serratos)? Fans are already at the edge of their seats when it was discovered that Glenn has been captured by the Saviors. It's beginning to look like that horrifying scene in the comic books might actually happen after all.

Last Day on Earth the final episode of The Walking Dead Season 6, will air on AMC on April 3.
