Marvel Comics continues its big plans for Miles Morales, the amazing wall-crawler from the Ultimate Universe. Step aside Peter Parker because writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sarah Pichelli have something special for our Marvel superhero in Spider-Man #3.

As we previously mentioned, eight months have passed since the conclusion of Secret Wars. With Earth-1610 gone, Miles Morales finds himself in a whole new world that is similar to his previous life, but quite different. With his mother back from the dead, how will Miles be able to protect his family, live a normal teenage life, and still keep his superhero identity secret?

We have 5 reasons why Miles Morales rules in Spider-Man #3 here:

5) Miles Took Down Blackheart!

In the Marvel Universe, Blackheart happens to be Mephisto's son. After failing to corrupt the Avenges, Blackheart took the superhero team down in Midtown Manhattan. In the first two issues, Miles Morales had to face-off against the demonic super-villain, using just his venom stingers.

4) The Morales Family!

In the Ultimate Universe, Miles just knew his father and uncle, the infamous Prowler, but no one from his mother's side. Because Miles has been failing his grades at school, but that's okay because ditching class to save the world, his mother has brought in reinforcement. Worse than any other Marvel baddie, Grandma is in town!

3) Ms. Marvel!

In this third installment, Kamala Khan makes an appearance as Ms. Marvel. Because they know what it's like to be a superhero, are Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man destined to hookup at some point? We will have to wait and see if romance will brew between them!

2) Ganke Lee!

Ganke always delivers the funniest lines, at the best moment, to keep Miles grounded. The two had an interesting debate in the second issue, discussing whether race should be integral behind a superhero identity. Kudos to Bendis for looking at all sides of the argument in the diversity issue.

1) The Artwork!

Artist Sarah Pichelli knows how to have fun with her drawings. In the illustrations, during a flashback, Pichelli captures Miles and Peter Parker as little children with big heads. The expressions are so cute and cuddly! What will Pichelli do in issue #3?

Spider-Man #3 arrives in stores April 6, 2016.

Readers, are you excited  to read Miles Morales' third issue?
