CW's Legends Of Tomorrow S01E11 The Magnificent 8 Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller Premiere Recap

The CW Network continues with the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In episode 11, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) join White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they take the fight to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in The Magnificent Eight.

When the Waverider lands, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and the team are dealing with side effects from the time-jump. Heat Wave realizes they are looking for temporal anomalies in the Old West.Hunter is reluctant to let the team take a trip in the past, warning them to use guns  incase of an emergency.

Dressed in the western wardrobe, the team head out into town. Jax (Franz Drameh) smiles as he sees Martin Stein (Victor Garber) as he flirts with a saloon waitress. Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) gets flashes of memories when she bumps into a stranger. Canary and Heat Wave joke around as they get close to each other while drinking.

Cold realizes Martin is very good at hustling while playing cards. Cold saves Stein after he shoots down a gunfighter. After everyone gets into a bar fight, Jonah Hex (Johnathon Schaech) takes a shot and stops everyone. Jonah knows they are all time-travelers and wants to see Rip. 

It turns out Jonah and Hunter know each other. Hex reveals the town will be under siege by the Stillwater gang. Hex laughs when Ray (Brandon Routh) says he's going to stay and fight the Stillwater gang. Canary joins Hawkgirl as they search for the stranger.

Ray is given the Sheriff's badge after news gets around that the Stillwater gang is coming. After Martin pays for info about Jeb Stillwater, he continues flirting with a weeping waitress. While Martin tends to her sick boy, the gang finally arrives in town. 

After Sheriff Palmer stands up for the town, Cold takes the shot and makes the gang run out. Hex warns that the gang will come back again. Because time-travelers never stay, Jonah reminds the others that nothing is ever a closed matter.

Martin argues with Ray and Hunter about saving a boy in need of medicine. Hunter remembers the the town of Calvert but had to leave to be with his wife and son. The Stillwater gang destroyed Calvert after Rip left.

Hawkgirl remembers the stranger as Carter's previous wife. The widow wants Kendra to stop fighting or else fate will break her heart. She will never love someone else.

After Martin cures the sick boy, the team attacks the Stillwater gang. Ray capture Jeb but Jax is caught by the gang. In order to get Jax back, Ray has to hold a quick-draw but Hunter refuses to use future tech. Hex punches Rip because he knew Calvert was going to burn.

During the quick draw, Hunter shoots first and takes down Jeb. After Jax is released, the Hunters have arrived. As the team fights, Hat Wave is deemed a traitor. He is warned that The Pilgrim is coming.

As Hex ad Rip say their goodbyes, Martin learns he saved the young H.G. Wells. Heat Wave reveals the Pilgrim is going after their younger selves, including a young Mick.
