Fear The Walking Dead features several talented young actors, including Frank Dillane from the Harry Potter film franchise and relative newcomer Lorenzo James Henrie. Although his character Chris Manawa might be stuck in a zombie apocalypse, Henrie is interested in working on other comic book shows like The Flash and has just admitted that he auditioned for Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Homecoming!

Henrie recently spoke to Comic Book Resources, where he confirmed that he is a big fan of Grant Gustin's CW series.

"I love The Flash and would love to do anything on that show," Henrie admitted before sharing that he has actually met a comic book legend.

"Recently I got to be friends with Stan Lee!" he shared. "We met at a con last year, and then we sat next to each other on the plane afterwards."

It looks like meeting the man who created Peter Parker has also made Henrie consider being a part of Holland's solo film.

"Getting to know him and catch up with him has been so cool, and I'd love to be in the new Spider-Man reboot," he confessed, adding that he had tried out for a part in the movie.

"I actually auditioned for a role," Henrie stated, although he was uncertain if he should be talking about his audition.

"I don't know if I'm allowed to say that, but I hope it can go further," he said with a laugh.

Although it isn't clear yet whether Henrie will appear in the film, Homecoming already boasts of an interesting lineup. In addition to Holland and Zendaya, it has been reported that Birdman actor Michael Keaton is in negotiations to play the villain in the Spider-Man movie.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 airs on AMC every Sunday nights. Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled for release in 2017.
