It looks like Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams is interested in joining costar Sophie Turner in the X-Men film franchise. When asked whether there is any truth behind the rumors that she has been cast as Rahne Sinclair aka Wolfsbane in Josh Boone's The New Mutants, the former Doctor Who star responded, "Sign me up!"

Williams recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly, where she reacted to the speculations that she will portray the mutant in the planned X-Men flick.

"I can't say much about it at all, but I would absolutely love to be a part of it, [and] to be a part of the Marvel family," Williams said, stating that she is already looking forward to what Boone's version of the comic book adaptation.

"New Mutants looks absolutely incredible and I've always loved the idea of spin-offs and Joshua Boone is incredibly talented," she gushed.

But is she interested in playing Wolfsbane in the movie?

"Yeah, sign me up," Williams declared.

Although it looks like Williams is eager to do New Mutants, Fox has already denied the casting news. In addition to the Game of Thrones star, the rumor suggested that The Witch actress Anya Taylor-Joy will play Ilyana Rasputina aka Magik. X-Men: Apocalypse's James McAvoy and Alexandra Shipp were also mentioned to reprise their roles as Charles Xavier and Storm in the film.

Williams isn't the only Game of Thrones star getting in some X-Men rumors. There have been speculations that Turner's Jean Grey will play a major role in the movie following Apocalypse, which is said to be a retelling of The Dark Phoenix Saga. If this is true, Turner's telepathic mutant is expected to be dangerously powerful in the next X-Men flick.

X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Bryan Singer and will premiere on May 27. There is no word yet on when The New Mutants will be released.
