When it comes to parenting, Tamera Mowry-Housley has some tips that all mothers probably want to take in as advice. When getting your child's ears pierced, the actress suggested that moms get them done at the pediatrician's office. That's just want she did for her daughter, Ariah Talea.

During a chat with Us Magazine, Mowry-Housley said: "If you want to get your kid's ears pierced, get them done at the pediatrician," Mowry explained. "And make sure the timing is right. You either want to do it early - or when they are 11. Not when they're a toddler, because they start to pull and tug and they get infected."

When it comes to adjustments from one child to two children, The Real host said it was a bit difficult in the beginning. “It’s hard,” she admitted. “We were in the trenches. It was challenging for the first six months. The hardest part was giving attention to both.”

Mowry-Housley, who is married to Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, have one son, Aden John Tanner, 3, and one daughter, Ariah, who is now 9 months old.

The mother claimed that big brother Aden was a little jealous of his little sister in the beginning. “It was challenging because [Aden] was very jealous and would try and hit her,” she said, “but now they are the best of friends. When she sees him she goes crazy with excitement. More than when she sees me!”

As for adding more kids to the family, Mowry-Housley previously revealed that she goes "back and forth" with the decision.

"I go back and forth," she said. "I'm a little bit older. I'll be 38 and from one to two year difference from just having Aden it's a huge difference on what it does to the body."

She also talked on the subject of people being judgmental about motherhood. There appears to be a lot of controversy on breastfeeding.

"I've learned you have to do what's right for you and your family and no matter what, people are going to judge," Mowry-Housley said. "There are momsters who are going to be out there watching everything you do. Now I just channel them out. I know what is best for my family, my children and me. I got this."
