The CW Network continues with Season 2 of The Flash. With the identity behind the super-villain Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd) revealed, will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) witness Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) trying to wound, Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes)?

In our previous recap, Caitlin revealed Jay's name was actually Hunter Zolomon, a serial killer turned metahuman back on Earth-2. Even though the scarlet speedster tried to trick Hunter, it was not enough to stop Zoom from stealing Barry's speed force. With Barry back as an average human being, Zoom kidnapped Caitlin and took her back to his world.

In our recent recap, Barry had to live his everyday life as a normal person, but that didn't mean his superhero days were over. With the crime rate rising in Central City, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) was abducted by Griffen Grey. As the scarlet speedster recused Wells, Caitlin found herself face-to-face with her doppelgänger, Killer Frost. In order to save Caitlin, Hunter had to stab Killer Frost to death. In order to rescue Caitlin and restore Barry's powers, Wells has to create the particle accelerator explosion once more.

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Todd Helbing teases the problems arising from Well's plan to recreate the particle accelerator explosion, "Like most of the Earth-Two metahumans, Black Siren is under the thumb of Zoom."

Executive producer Aaron Helbing adds, "She's a very powerful metahuman. She is sassy, strong and capable.... Katie really nailed the performance."

Speaking with the same site, Ramon reveals, "It's not the reaction that you'd think Cisco would have, because the wound of Laurel's death is pretty ubiquitous in this DC TV universe. We see there's an Earth-Two Laurel, a version of Laurel that's alive, and that does things to somebody's consciousness, especially after processing grief. There's definitely a bit of shock there and difficulty grappling with reality."

DC All Access has a video interview with Tom Cavanagh, who discusses Well's plan and plays around with superhero figures.

The Flash continues on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm.
