NBC continues with the midseason return of Blindspot. In the upcoming finale, will Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) discover something about Jane Doe/Taylor Shaw (Jaimie Alexander)'s hip tattoo?

As we previously mentioned, Blindspot follows Jane Doe (Alexander), who was suddenly dropped in the middle of Times Square. With no memory of who she is, Jane's only clues are all over her tattooed body. With the help of FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Stapleton), Jane has to figure what these mysterious tattoos actually mean. But is Jane actually part of the conspiracy that Weller is seeking answers for? Can Jane truly be trusted in the end? Or will Kurt and his team find a traitor in the mix?

In our recent recap, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) had to destroy Dr. Borden (Ukweli Roach)'s home in order to save a little girl. Though they have became closer, Jane has become suspicious and started following Oscar (François Arnaud) to his apartment. Tasha (Audrey Esparza) and Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) are becoming more suspicious of their boss. After discovering her lover dead, Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) was warned to stop looking into Carter's death.

According to People, the Thor actress has been given a new tattoo and this one won't be removed any time soon. The design appears to be a scarab beetle, a sacred insect in ancient Egypt. Alexander had a huge sketch of the bug on her left hip bone.

On his official Instagram account, Brooklyn-based tattoo artist, Joshua Lord shared a close-up and writes, "Did everyone watch Blindspot last night!! Such an amazing show! I had the honor of doing a real tattoo on @jaimiealexander while #jenn and B Paul kept us laughing way too much. Thanks everyone who watched the live feed of the tattoo during the commercials #gracelandbrooklyn #eastsideink #blindspot #jaimiealexander #scarab #coveruptattoo."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, creator and showrunner Martin Gero teases the finale, "There is a reveal in these last couple of episodes that turns the show completely upside down. [The finale] is the first episode where there's not a single shot fired. That's how much is going on emotionally."

Blindspot continues for 3 more Mondays at 10pm on NBC.

Readers, who do you think of Jamie Alexander's new tattoo?
