Samsung to Release Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S8 Plus in 2017, featuring 'Viv'

Two Samsung Galaxy S8 handsets will be expected in the coming year 2017, as the duo flagship of Samsung Galaxy 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

Know Your Mobile claims that both of these two models will feature the EDGE displays and bezel-less design making the overall size of the handset should not be much bigger than the Galaxy S7 model. Meanwhile, the standard Samsung Galaxy 8 will be featuring a 5.7 inches OLED display which differs from the Galaxy S8 Plus with the larger 6.2 inches panel.

According to Express, the Galaxy S8 Plus model might be the company's biggest device to date because of its larger panel which is nearly edge-to-edge display. However, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is speculated to come sporting a curved-edge display, as usual Samsung handset describes.

At the same time, both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are about to feature an all-touch front panel with the Home key embedded inside the new OLED display. Another notable feature which is rumored to be inside the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are 'Viv.'

'Viv' is said to be Samsung's new digital assistant technology, as well as a new processor technology, packed with a dual-lens camera, an improved RAM, Android Nougat and improved optimization for acquiring better performance. On the other hand, as these Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will come with a larger display, it is expected to use a larger battery cell for multi-tasking.

Right from the developers of Viv, they have stated that "Viv is an artificial intelligence platform which then enables the developers to distribute their products using an intelligent and conversational interface. Also, it's the simplest way for the world to get interaction with devices, as well as the services and things everywhere."

As of now, the exact release date of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is not yet announced. And people are still uncertain if this 'Viv' which is said to teach the world and knows more than it is taught and learns every day will play a huge part with these Samsung's handset.
