Aside from details on the Apple iPhone 8, Apple has now started to sell refurbished iPhones on their US online stores since last Tuesday.

According to Gadgets 360, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus which were launched just last year, were included in the models' list for sale. Fortunately, years after Apple sold refurbished iPhones in 2007, Apple has again opened for this kind of opportunity on their online stores to sell their refurbished units directly to users or either with third-party resellers.

With the discounted prices of up to 15 percent or more as compared to new models, gadget lovers and fans can now have a refurbished iPhone model, as per The Verge. For instance, the rose gold color 64GB iPhone 6s Plus is now on sale for only $589, while the silver 16GB iPhone 6s Plus model is only about $529, which is very low compared to its original price.

Additionally, Apple's refurbished iPhones which are for sale comes with a full one-year warranty period similar to a brand new model. Ever since, Apple typically sells refurbished Macs, Macbooks, iPads and Mac accessories, and now is the second time for the refurbished iPhones to put on sale.

However, a refurbished Apple's iPhone product is usually in low price because these models are those which have been returned by a customer after a purchase. More often than not, this return is either due to a manufacturing flaw or product dissatisfaction which was covered by Apple's 14 days return policy or satisfaction guarantee.

On the refurbished page, Apple states that their refurbished iPhone products on sale are all tested by the company. Also, this comes with a brand new battery and outer shell as well as is unlocked to any telecom operator or does not come with a sim card.

Meanwhile, these Apple iPhone models which were put on sale are speculated to be more on the 16GB iPhone 6s and the 64GB iPhone 6s Plus variants which were discontinued on September after the launched date of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s. This means a possibility that these models were not returned, but just refreshed and refurbished in order to sell all the stocks.
