Donald Trump might be on his way to Windsor Castle for a state visit next summer. According to People, Trump is reportedly invited by the Queen herself for the visit.

People says that Queen Elizabeth II will send an invitation to the former reality star after he becomes president on January 20,2017.

According to the report, the Queen is yet to comment on the controversial 2016 US elections that saw the businessman Donald Trump come to power. The Queen reportedly issues invitations to the US president, at least once during their four or eight-year term.

The Queen had met all the US presidents, except Lyndon Johnson ever since she took the throne adds the report. A visit for official business is different from a state visit since the Royal family makes sure it is a glamourous affair, which includes Trump and Melania Trump staying at the Windsor Castle.

The Telegraph reports that the United Kingdom's ministers believe that the Queen is their secret weapon, and Theresa May might utilize the state visit to churn out a special relationship between the States and Britain.

Trump has reportedly met with many international politicians already after his election victory, and the most notable are Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and Nigel Farage, the former leader of the UKIP party of Britain, and of "Brexit" fame.

The Telegraph reports that it is unclear whether Donald Trump will meet the other royals, like Prince Charles, Prince William, Princess Catherine, or Prince Harry

Donald Trump has reportedly made some controversial remarks about the Royal family in the past, which include him saying on the Howard Stern show that he could have sex with Princess Diana after her divorce from Charles. The report says that the interview took place weeks before her eventual death in 1997.
