For years of being the hit zombie drama "The Walking Dead" showrunner sees that chances of bringing the series into a movie and get into the big screen and pull millions of viewers.

According to GameSpot, showrunner Scott M. Gimple was asked about the chance of seeing "The Walking Dead" in the movie. Though unserious on his answers, it would be both beneficial for 'The Walking Dead' cast and crew as well as for its fans.

"That question comes up every now and again," executive producer Gimple said, as per The Wrap. More so, he also sees an opportunity in turning "The Walking Dead" into a movie. "I'm sure one way or another, one day, it will happen. I think it would be cool," he said.

Furthermore, what makes the fans more excited is when Gimple said some little jokes on who will star in the speculated movie.

"William Shatner as Rick, then we'll get Edward James Olmos as Daryl. Hit all the big shows for Matthew Fox will be the Governor," Gimple jokingly said.

Additionally, Andrew Lincoln the lead character who plays as Rick in "The Walking Dead" has previously expressed his interest in the idea of bringing the series to the big screen line up of movies.

"That would be such really amazing idea. It's that something we've been talking about and dreamt of because it would be cool to see some snow," Lincoln noted.

Lincoln also added, "We were all willing to go wherever the show needs us , just not to have to film in Atlanta where it gets 100 degrees. What would be amazing is that you can also play with some form, time as well as chronology and maybe also rediscover characters who are no longer exists in the show. Certainly, with that kind of format, you can do something very interesting and ambitious."

Consequently, even if "The Walking Dead" movie does not happen. The cast and crew have been already prepared and signed contracts for the season 8 once the season 7 ends next year. But, if the movie would come to realized, it would be a great end.
