Kathy Griffin released an explosive revelation when she called out talk show host Ellen DeGeneres for being fake and mean. It looks like Griffin has a long-standing misunderstanding with DeGeneres and it had something to do with the late Joan Rivers as well.

In promoting her new book, "Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index," Griffin details her accounts with her interactions with Hollywood celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres. Morning News USA notes that DeGeneres apparently kicked out Griffin out of a dressing room during an awards ceremony without stating any reason. Kathy Griffin did not apparently name DeGeneres but her description seemed to match that of the talk show host so well.

During an interview on Access Hollywood Live, Kathy Griffin revealed that Ellen DeGeneres apparently "hated" Joan Rivers. She claimed that the comedian did not understand Rivers' sense of humor and thinks that the late star was mean, according to Perez Hilton. Despite her feud with DeGeneres, Kathy Griffin praised the comedian for her wonderful achievements.

Griffin added that with the small population of mainstream female comedians on TV, she believes that they should stick with one another. However, when she and Rivers would talk together, Griffin reveals that she is "heartbroken" over DeGeneres' attitude towards them.

She also had something to say about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who became her neighbors when she moved next door to them in a Los Angeles neighborhood. Kathy Griffin claims that she was welcomed by the couple to the neighborhood and had some time to talk with Kim.

Griffin adds that the couple was "fantastic neighbors" because they kept to themselves and have their home highly secured. Griffin's new book also had juicy details regarding other encounters with Hollywood celebrities including Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Woody Allen and more.
