Tom Cruise openly admitted that he deeply believes in the Scientology, his religion, and it also recently appeared in the news that he donated a ransom to them to keep him and his secrets safe.

On the other hand, Leah Remini was involved with Scientology but the actress became famous for leaving the church. She also spoke about the religion and their fame for attracting celebrities and how they continue to do so through their TV platform, as per Cinema Blend.

Unlike Cruise. it turns out that Scientology has affected Leah for several years, the "King of Queens" actress opened up on how the Church and Cruise tried to get her to do things while at CBS and this even included shutting down a 60-minute episode.

It is believed that Leah had also given the church $3 million and she does not seem to be getting that back, not to forget Cruise also donated $10 million. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Leah stated that Scientology is a brainwashing proposition.

It appears that the Scientology Church along with Cruise persuaded Leah to stop an episode from airing on CBS. The best part that she was forced to do so with no option and Leah actually made an attempt to stop the episode.

It was certain that Les Moonves the network head did not take up the request, which led Leah to call them back and say that she tried but failed to do so. She even felt weird telling Moonves how to do his job. Moonves stated to Leah saying "I do not care if it's you, if it's Tom Cruise, if it's Jenna Elfman, you are all going to get the same story from me." It appears that Tom Cruise had already made at attempt before Leah Remini.

For those who have not heard about Scientology, their latest book Beyond Belief and Scientology The Ex Files are available on Amazon. One of their most sold books Inside Scientology is also available online.
