‘Thor: Ragnarok”: Is Hela the MCU Replacement for Death? Does Heimdall Possess A Soul Stone?

"Thor: Ragnarok" spoilers continue to emerge and one biggest idea aside from the locations of the soul stones is whether Hela would replace Lady Death. 

According to Movie Pilot, most fans are eagerly waiting to see Hela as Lady Death in the final "Infinity Stone" in "Thor: Ragnarok" 2017. Hela, played by Cate Blanchett, is the ultimate villain for the "Thor 2" movie and would likely to place for Death's appearance for she is also the Norse goddess of Death.

More so, Marvel introduces another interesting twist when they would cut the common figure of Death as a man and takes it on a female form. Also, Thanos was known to fell in love with Death and seek to win her through plans which usually involves killing.

Another speculation is that Thanos would be smitten by Hela in her pursuit of the Infinity Stone for it is possible in the MCU, because she's also the Realm of Death. Mark Ruffalo commented on Hela's role as, "She plays the worst of the worst. So evil. She is going to kill us. It's such a great part she gets to play."

This might be the reason why the rewrite for "Doctor Strange" has changed course. Likewise, Marvel just hired Stephany Folsom to rewrite the "Thor: Ragnarok," and is extremely likely to position Hela as the MCU replacement of Death.

On the other hand, almost all of the Infinity Stones was at Hela's hands, as per Yibada. The only Infinity Stone remaining and yet to be seen is the Soul Stone. Meanwhile, some fans said that the existence if the Soul Stone already appeared.

Speculation is pointing out to Heimdall as the one who possesses the Soul Stone all along. "First, it was Heimdall who quoted in 'Thor: The Dark World' when he said that he could see all the souls in the nine realms." The only thing that would make Heimdall do that is the Soul Stone.

Also, Thos had a vision of the future at the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" that Heimdall is blind, and his blindness could be because of his possession of the Soul Stone. Heimdall's eyes are also orange, which is similar to the color of the Soul Stone.

If all the speculations are true about Heimdall's possession of the Soul Stone, it is no question that Hela would kill him. If this happens, Hela would have all the Infinity Stones at hand. However, it is still questionable for "Thor: Ragnarok" if Thanos is really in love with the Lady Death or is he after the Infinity Stones.
