Queen Latifah's $160,000 Mercedez-Benz was stolen on December 20. The incident occurred before 9:20 p.m. at a Shell station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard.

According to FOX 5 News, a white BMW pulled beside Queen Latifah's 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 while her affiliate, Kieth Sheppard, was pumping gas. Apparently someone got out of the BMW, jumped into Latifah's car, and sped off. Queen Latifah was fortunately not in the car at the time of the incident.

Later, as reported by AJC, Atlanta police tracked down Latifah's vehicle (with a damaged rear rim) at a Mechanicsville apartment complex in the 500 block of McDaniel Street in Southwest Atlanta. Security said they spotted three males near the vehicle, as well as a white BMW and another Dodge Charger which was also reported stolen in College Park. Officials are still reviewing the apartment surveillance video.

Authorities recovered a contract inside the vehicle that belonged to Dana Owens, Queen Latifah's real name, which she claimed she needed.

Queen Latifah is one of the many victims of the recent crime trend tormenting south Fulton gas stations. High-profile figure, retired Fulton Superior Court Judge Marvin Arrington Sr., was also a victim at a BP station on Cascade Road, just off I-285.

Arrington Sr. parked his 2016 Infiniti Q60 at a pump, got out of the car and saw a man in a red hoodie open the passenger-side door and jumped inside his vehicle, he told police. The man in the hoodie took the car and headed north, towards Research Center Atlanta Drive while a black Dodge Charger followed.

Fulton Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr., has persuaded his associates on the board to deny liquor licenses at gas stations and other businesses where crime is high and said that the people are "under attack". Fulton County Police are still searching for the responsible thieves.
