Gionee M2017 is officially out in China with a hefty price tag as it features a 7,000mAh battery and 6GB of RAM. This newly launched smartphone goes head-to-head with the ruling Apple iPhone 7 Plus.

According to Z Gionee, the smartphone is a dual-SIM phone which sports a 5.7-inch QHD with 1440 x 2560 pixels AMOLED display with curved edges, sapphire glass, and an impressive pixel density of 518ppi.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus comes with a LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, display size is 5.5 inches, and display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels.

Processor: Under the hood, the Gionee M2017 is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653. The processor has a four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.95GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The new Gionee M2017 runs on Amigo 3.5 UI based Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus runs on iOS 10.0.1, upgradable to latest release, A10 Fusion processor, CPU is Quad-core 2.23 GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM, and GPU is six-core graphics.

Battery: The Gionee M2017 is featured with two 3500mAh batteries providing total battery capacity of 7000mAh. On the other hand, Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh battery.

Camera and Storage: The Gionee M2017 is having a dual-camera setup with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel lens at the rear. The front shooter is constituted with an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is incorporated with an inbuilt storage of 128GB with no option of expansion via microSD card.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus has front camera of 7 MP, dual 12MP rear camera and comes with memory storage of 32GB, 128GB, 256GB storage and 3 GB RAM.
