Users are  await the much touted biggest update for Galaxy 2016 flagship devices more intriguing details have emerged through Samsung's updated manuals being circulated in its regional websites.

The manual contains various changes made to the TouchWiz user interface. The manual also includes some screenshots that show how the update will exactly look like. According to IBT, Samsung's camera app could also be revamped with the update.

The major difference can be found in the new notification interface which appears more refined and flat following the footsteps of stock Android experience and more preferably so because the Android Nougat has been known to be putting a lot of weight on notification feature and without such changes things might get quite cluttered for Galaxy users. The beta versions also point towards an overhaul in quick settings area with more options to customise the grid layout reported, AndroidCentral.

A new feature known as the blue light filter can also be expected to be featured in the new update which will help reduce eye strain as seen in various Apple and Pixel devices. This feature can be scheduled to activate automatically at a certain time and can be set manually as well.

Some remarkable changes can be seen in the camera interface as well following the subtlety of the Nougat experience with new viewfinder features to lock focus and exposure. The lock screen has also received an update like that of the now defunct Galaxy Note 7 with actionable notifications and an always on display with more applications supporting this feature.

The split window feature which has been Samsung's forte for last many devices will now finally get Android platform support with the Nougat update giving it the freedom to have more applications to choose from.

We can also expect some native Samsung features on top of the Nougat update as seen on various previous updates. Now the question remains when will the flagship devices finally receive this much awaited release.
