Don Lemon, who was reporting for CNN on the New Year Eve at the Spotted Cat in New Orleans, celebrated by taking shots on live TV, piercing his ear, admitting to viewers he was "lit" (a slang term for drunk), and talking about his life reports, Boston Globe.

The night started with Lemon demonstrating the cameras that he was drinking a brew before making a go three hours before midnight ("This is way too early to start this!" Baldwin energetically demanded) but to her vain. At a certain point, he served alcohol to a couple from behind the bar. After a point of time, Baldwin tried to convince him that he has had too much and tequila is emitting from his pores.

He was also challenged by Kathy Griffin to get a tattoo or piercing on his nipple - and at one moment started to remove his coat and shirt - yet rather picked to get his ear pierced. (When he went after a pre-puncturing drink, Baldwin asked in a genuine tone to stop giving him the shots right away reports, Boston Herald.

After several drinks, towards his intoxicated state he was also captured on Camera quoting "People are saying that I'm lit. Yeah, I'm lit. Who cares? New Orleans is lit."

Sooner or later, the tequila at last hits and Lemon starts to disclose to Baldwin that he may be interested in a relationship in 2017, despite the fact that he supposes he's an awful individual to date and is exceptionally selfish. Significant regard to Baldwin for playing a good friend to your tipsy amigo who has Open-to-God moment after an excessive number of shots of tequila.

Lemon truly paced things up when he needed to settle on a choice between getting his nipple pierced or his ear pierced, as one does in the wake of bringing down shots of tequila throughout the night. He picked his ear, incidentally.

The network also allegedly cut Lemon's mic after he started saying, "2016 was awful" just after the countdown to midnight.
