Ever since the emergence of smartphones, almost everything in every aspect of our lives is having their "Smart" counterparts. Smart Watch, Smart Toothbrush, Smart Hairbrush, Smart Ballet Slippers, there's even a Smart Mirror that notifies you if there is something that should be done with your hair or your make up. Zhor-Tech, a French company that innovates footwear and other wearable technologies throws yet another "Smart" product:  Digitsole, the Smart Shoes.

According to Digitsole's official site, the shoes connect with your phone via Bluetooth 4.0 and can be monitored through a smartphone app. The shoes also keep track of your steps, log the distance walked, ad measures the calories you burned while you're wearing it.

As reported by The Verge, Digitsole heels come in two models. There is a model with adjustable mechanical high heels for those who often change shoes when they need different heels in different occasions. And you don't have to touch your shoes to adjust the heels, you just need to tap the app and you're ready to go. The range of the adjustable heels is said to be 1.7 inches high to 3.1 inches.

The other model comes with heated insoles and you can use the app to change the temperature inside your shoes. The temperature is also controlled through an app.The $300 pair of shoes, which was introduced at CES 2017 last week, will need to be charged at least once a week. It has a microUSB port underside of the adjustable high heel.

The Digitsole is also expected to help those people who have Reynaud's Syndrome or other circulatory diseases, as the Marie D expected in her testimonial from the official Digitsole site:

"I'll never have cold feet again. Perfect for people like me who have Reynaud's syndrome or other circulatory diseases. I can now enjoy the outdoors again because of these amazing insoles. Digitsoles allow me to easily control the temperature using the handy app. Genius."

The shoes are expected to have additional features for the future models. It would be cool if this new product will have the same feature like its predecessor, the Volvorii Timeless smart shoes that change colors with a tap in your smartphone which was released in 2015.
