The Batman: Top actors that could play as 'Red Hood'

Ben Affleck's The Batman movie is currently in scripting stage and it has been announced already that Joe Manganiello will be playing as the main villain, Deathstroke. There is, however, a possibility that villains other than Deathstroke might engage in battle with Batman.

According to We Got This Covered, rumours say that the Batman movie might be an adoption of the story of the classic Under The Hood storyline. The comic introduced the return of the second Robin, Jason Todd (the first one being Dick Grayson that went on to become Nightwing) as a vigilante named the Red Hood, a name and look inspired by The Joker before he changed into the Clown Prince of Crime. Jason was actually murdered by the Joker, but was revived by Ra's Al Ghul and returned years later looking for vengeance against both him and Batman.

But all history aside, who could possibly play the role of Red Hood? Here are the top 5 possible candidates according to Movie Pilot.

Jensen Ackles

The Supernatural actor voiced as Red Hood for the animated movie Batman: Under the Red Hood. Since then, fans have wanted him to play the role in the live-action movie.

Kit Harrington

The Game of Thrones actor is of the right age to play as the grown up Jason Todd plus a body match for the villain. Ackles might be a good bet for everyone but Jon Snow kind of has a potential for the role, too.

Aaron Paul

He would be too old for the role but since he'll be covered up in a costume, it won't really be a problem. His dark role in Breaking Bad makes him a good candidate for the role.

Hayden Christensen

Hayden's portrayal in the Star Wars prequel trilogy of a dark Anakin Skywalker has definitely earned him points to be the Red Hood. He won't be too old for the role and a body for a slimmer Jason Todd.

Lucas Till

He is of the perfect age of 24 to be Red Hood and has built his body since his role of Havoc in X-Men: First Class. Five more actors have also made it in Movie Pilots list, including Brett Dalton of Agents of Shield, Tyler Hoechlin, Godzilla actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Charlie Hunnam of Sons of Anarchy, and 31-year-old Taylor Kitsch.
