Microsoft Surface Pro-5 Specs & Updates: Magnetic Charging, Upgraded Stylus Pen, Own Battery

Microsoft announced its newest 2-in-1 "Surface Pro-5" in late October, 2016. Since then, consumers were waiting for the official launch of Surface Pro-5.

Multiple news sources including mobilenapps have confirmed that Surface Pro-5 is going to be officially launched in the first quarter of 2017. The new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 has been manufactured in Pegatron Technology.

The Stylus Pen is expected to be cased alongside the main body with improved efficiency. Microsoft Surface pro is equipped with advanced features and updated technological edge that adds yet another plus to the company's credit. Facing tough competition from Apples iPad pro and Google's Pixel C, Microsoft Surface Pro-5 seems to be dominant as its predecessor Surface Pro 4 has already earned trust of the consumers.

Although, specifications of Surface Pro 5 have not been released yet but they can be sensed after comparing it with Surface Pro 4. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is equipped with Intel Core i5-6300U, 4 GHz CPU, installed Random Access Memory (RAM) of 8 GB, Graphics card up to 128 MB of Intel HD Graphics 520 and storage capacity is 256 GB SSD. Price of Surface pro 4 was fixed at $1,299. Screen of Surface Pro is 12.3 Inches.

Around mid-2017, Microsoft is going to issue a second update of Windows 10 for an unknow hardware. According to Tech Radar, more specifically, Surface Pro 5 is one of these devices blessed with updated Windows 10. Tech experts forecast Core-i7 7700HQ CPU for Surface Pro 5. Surface Pro 5 will be innovated with Magnetic charging technology.

The Screen and display of the Surface Pro 5 is made sharper and bigger with improved resolution with at least 3840 pixels as compared to that of 2736 x 1824 pixels of Surface Pro 4. Surface Pro 5 will, most probably, be thinner, smarter and stylish in design.

Major upgrades are expected in the Surface Pro 5 Stylus Pen. The pen will have a rechargeable battery in the middle, On/Off button near the tip, pencil like eraser on the tail and indicator light. Stylus Pen is made compatible for connectivity with different supporting gadgets of Surface Pro 5.

Market analysts have predicted the price of Surface Pro 5 is around $899. The speculation is based on fluctuated prices of Microsoft devices in the market.
