‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers: Caitriona Balfe Talks About Jamie-Claire Reunion, Evolved Role

"Outlander" Season 3 release date is not known yet, but still several spoilers concerning the plot of the next season have been released so far. One of the latest reports talk the much-awaited about Jamie-Claire reunion.

"Outlander" Season 3 fans have been waiting so long to see Jamie-Claire reunion happen in the series. Earlier it was not confirmed whether it will actually happen or not, but recently in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Caitriona Balfe kind of confirmed that the reunion is bound to happen.

Balfe, who plays Calire's role in the series, wants fans to know that they would not be left disappointed in "Outlander" Season 3. Apart from promising that the Claire-Jamie reunion will happen, Balfe revealed that fans can expect to see a complete change in her character.

That is, Claire would change a lot in the 20 years she has remained separated from Jamie. The next season will be based on Diana Gabaldon's third book in the series titled "Voyager."

"Voyager" story line takes a huge jump of 20 years and during this huge amount of time elapsed, Claire continues to falsely think that Jamie is dead, while Jamie keep on missing her. According to Balfe, Claire would finally decided to see Jamie again after 20 years. However, she would be a completely changed woman by then.

So far in the popular television series, Claire has been a stubborn and strong character. But if fans are to go according to Balfe's hint about the plot of the next season, they may expect to see a smoother side of Claire.

This is evident from what Balfe said walking down the red carpet at the Golden Globes Awards ceremony that took place recently. According to Bustle, the actress was recorded saying that people who are generally harsh tone down eventually to reveal smoother side of themselves.

The 37-year-old actress further said that Claire is not that stubborn as she actually appears. She is not quick-tempered and after a long gap of 20 years and separation from Jamie, she may have learned how to control her urge.
