Miss Universe 2016 On 30 January: Delegates, Predictions and Choices

The queen of beauty, Miss Universe 2016 will be decided on January 30, 2017 in Manila, Philippines. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, 27, is all set to hand the crown over to her successor. The ceremony will be hosted by Steve Harvey who has a five-year contract with Miss Universe Organization for hosting their programs. The "Cycle 23" judge and top American model Ashley Graham will perform as backstage host in the pageant.

Thirteen hundred (1300) policemen from the Philippine National Police will be providing security to 86 delegates and other participants from around the world.

 thetrendingfacts reports that the Queens of beauty contesting for the crown of Miss Universe include Miss Columbia, Andrea Tovar (23), Miss Germany, Johana Ace (24), Miss Mexico, Kristal Silva (24), Miss USA, Deshauna Barber (27), Miss Philippines, Maxine Medina (26), Miss Japan, Sari Nakazawa (23) and Miss Great Britain Jaime-Lee Faulkner.

Voting to decide the next Miss Universe is underway on missuniverse where 10,000 women annually participate in the contest for Queen of Beauty, Miss Universe. This upcoming contest is the 65^th Miss Universe competition in its overall history.

According to most recent polls and online surveys, Miss Columbia Andrea Tovar is leading the race for Miss Universe. Last Year Steve Harvey announced the name of Andrea as the winner of Miss Universe crown but it was by mistake. Second most probable choice is Miss Brazil Raissa Santana. Third in the race for Crown is Miss Mexico Kristal Salva. Fourth choice goes to Miss Australia Caris Tiivil. We all have to wait for polling results till Monday, 30^th January 2017.

The Delegates will attend Media sessions, Fashion shows and charity activities before the final grand show. The participants will also attend a red-carpet welcome ceremony. The Philippines has hosted the pageant twice in history, first in 1974 and then in 1994.

The pageant of Coronation for Miss Universe will be on air from January 30, 2017. In the US, it will be 29 January. Miss Universe of 2015, Maxine 26 will also attend the pageant.
