Selena Gomez & The Weeknd spotted kissing, Selena is just a rebound?

The Weeknd proved that sometimes, a person can move on very quickly from a relationship.

The Weeknd was spotted smooching Selena Gomez outside the Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California, on Tuesday. The steamy photos were captured just two months after The Weeknd split with his long-time supermodel girlfriend, Bella Hadid.

In the exclusive photos obtained by ET, Selena looked casual in powder blue pants, a black coat and boots while she wrapped her arms around her new rumoured boyfriend. Selema was also caught giving The Weeknd a peck in his cheek.

As every Hollywood couple goes, the two have yet to confirm that they are indeed in a relationship. Based on the photos, the two are evidently more than just close friends.

An eyewitness shared that the alleged couple arrived around 9 p.m. and stayed for three hours. The two had opted for a private waiter at the back of a room."You could see the waiter going back and forth through the dining room serving them all night," the eyewitness said, telling ET.

"They came out and they looked so happy," the eyewitness added. "They were hugging, kissing, and being super affectionate. Selena was all over him -- hugging him, kissing him. She looked amazing and so incredibly happy and in love."

In addition, the witness further spilled that Gomez and The Weeknd were the last one to leave. They entered the restaurant separately but they get in together in The Weeknd's car.

Before this romantic date, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid confirmed their split last November after a year and a half of dating. Both parties stated that the break up was a mutual decision due to their busy schedules and will stay as friends. The two crossed paths again at the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Paris.

Ironically, Gomez, 24, and The Weekend [real name: Abel Makkonen Tesfaye], 26, crossed paths in November 2015 when they both performed during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
