It has been a great year for the Bradford-born singer despite of the numerous issues came after he left One Direction almost two years ago. The singer's solo career album, "Mind of Mine," was finally launched and a surprised collaboration recently with Taylor Swift on the track "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," which is one of the music soundtrack of the upcoming erotic sequel "Fifty shades of Grey."

His relationship with the Victoria's Secret Model Gigi Hadid is hitting on the rage, in fact, the model posted a photo on the instagram of the former One Direction star with her sweet message saying, Happy birthday my handsome, so lucky to know and love a soul like yours wishing you the best year ever, according to Mirror. The couple stayed quiet about their relationship but reports claimed that last December the singer had proposed to the Victoria's Secret beauty.

Liam Payne also posted a birthday greeting to their ex-bandmate. Malik claimed on the last interview on the Mirror that he had rarely spoken to the rest of the One Direction members.

On the other hand, another One Direction member, Niall Horan was totally disappointed with the public farewell speech of President Obama last Tuesday Night, November 10, 2017. Together with the other Hollywood celebrities like Katy Perry, Ne-Yo and Zendaya, Horan posted his grief on twitter saying, Don't get me started but I'm going to miss the Obamas. The nicest family on earth, according to Billboard.

According to the same publication, the One Direction crooner has been a huge fan of the President ever since it started coming into office. Besides, when Trump won during the recent election, Horan was open about the fact that he was not even a supporter. He tweeted in November saying, it's a sad state of affairs but the one thing you can take from it is that map they've shown of how the young people voted.
