It seems that giant smartphone manufacturer company, Samsung, is ready and determined to wow its fans again through its upcoming flagship phone Samsung Galaxy S8. After the disastrous feedback from Samsung Note 7 due to battery defects, Samsung's unwavering promise to deliver an excellent and high-performance phone may come true.

Undeniably, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will play a great role for the company to recover from millions of losses caused by the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, which tarnished the South Korean giant's reputation that also caused losses of its consumers.

Samsung Display, Samsung's own screen-manufacturing arm, has posted two videos to its Korean YouTube channel that show an smartphone, allegedly the Samsung Galaxy S8, using its latest AMOLED technology. The smartphone features ultra-thin bezels, according to Mashable. There were speculations that an early release for Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected which is on April this year.

Aside from that, the uploaded video also confirmed a rumoured spec. Samsung is indeed ditching the physical home button on the bottom bezel which will allow thinner bezels on both the top and bottom of the phone.

The video had showed the number '94%' with description in Korean characters that could suggest that this might be the screen-to-body ratio of the upcoming device.

The descriptions given under both the video, as translated by Google Translate:

1. Samsung Display AMOLED is not only excellent image quality because of its high colour reproduction rate, but also because it has thin thickness, light weight and low power consumption thanks to its self-luminous structure.

2. Samsung Display AMOLED has developed Vision Aid technology, which allows users experiencing colour fading to feel more natural colour. This technology, which can be implemented thanks to AMOLED's self-emission method, is a special advantage of display AMOLED for people.

Meanwhile, still unconfirmed other rumours include that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor with a 6-inch display and also feature 8GB RAM, as reported by GSM Arena.

It was previously reported that the Galaxy S8 is expected to be launched in February this year, but has since been postponed to April, according to The Indian Express. Samsung has reportedly set an initial production target of 10 million units at the time of the launch of the S8. Are you excited for the Samsung Galaxy S8?
