"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3 cast still includes Danay Garcia
Last season, Luciana's (Danay Garcia) La Colonia community in Mexico gets attacked by the infected when their leader, Alejandro (Paul Calderon) opens the gate. Nick (Frank Dillane) and Luciana take the rest of the group to the American border. Unfortunately, when they get there, they are ambushed by a militant group.
The others escape, but more are gunned down. Nick is captured and Lusiana gets a bullet to the shoulder. The last scene worried viewers over Luciana's fate, but actress Danay Garcia revealed that her character will recover and that she still has a huge role to play in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3.
The actress told ComicBook that the next season would be bigger than the previous ones. She also said that her character will be largely affected by the ambush. "I'm very interested in seeing how she is going to deal with this because this is a completely different animal," Garcia said.
Luciana is one of the most loved characters on the show. She's brave and quick on her feet and she offers a different insight into the zombie apocalypse franchise. Luciana doesn't believe that the Walkers are necessarily bad. Will this change in the upcoming season?

The actress also commented on the fact that her character getting captured by the US militia has turned the tables. Luciana was on her native ground before, but after getting attacked at the border, she will have to adapt to a new environment, according to Den of Geek.
The actress compared the scene to an immigrant arriving in another country for the first time. "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3 spoilers reveal that the show will explore bigger issues about immigration and cultural ethnicities amid the post-apocalyptic setting. The show has been praised for offering a fresh take on the end of the world and the madness of people against the backdrop of a zombie problem.
"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 3 release date is set for April 2017, with 16 episodes. Season 1 only had six episodes and it aired in August 2015. Season 2 had 15 episodes and, because of the length, it was released in April 2016. If the third season follows the same schedule, fans will be getting their zombie TV series early.
