'FFXV' Moogle Chocobo Carnival Coming On Jan. 24 With Exclusive Outfits

Final Fantasy XV is releasing its first live event on Jan. 24, and true to its name, you'll see a lot of Chocobo and Moogle related items. A trailer has been shown on Japanese TV giving the fans a sneak peak on what it will showcase. In order to access the event, you will have to download either the Holiday Pack or the paid version of it which is the Holiday Pack +.

The announcement came from Final Fantasy XV's tweet. The Holiday Pack, or the free version, contains the items "Nixperience Band", "Warrior's Fanfaore", "Choco-Mog Tee Shirt", and Carnival Passport. Meanwhile, the Holiday Pack + includes more goodies such as "Ring of Resistance", "Tech Turbocharger", "Blitzer's Fanfare" and more. A table of comparison can be found here. This Carnival Passport will allow you access to the Moogle Chocobo Carnival which will happen on Jan 24. It is available in both Holiday Pack and Holiday Pack +.

There will also be new quests to take on, new items and fun activities. New frames will also be available and you can use it to share your pictures online. The frame designs include a christmas themed one, a portrait-esque frame, and many more.

There will also be a new game mode but you need to apply the December 22nd update for it ti work. It is called NEW GAME+ and it is available in both Holiday Packs. NEW GAME+ is a free new feature that lets you carry all of your gear, abilities and Ascension tree to play through the game again.

If you haven't downloaded your Holiday Pack yet, do so now as it is free and will only be around as long as the Moogle Chocobo Carnival will be around. We'll find out what will be the stuffs available in more or less a week. So for now, ready your Gysahl Greens and Kupo Nuts because you might need them in this coming festival.
