When The CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" returns for its sophomore season, fans should expect major changes, especially among some of the major characters of the show. Wentworth Miller, in particular shared that Captain Cold will undergo a major transformation.

According the actor, the series will present his character in a new light on its second outing as Captain Cold will become a member of the Legion of Doom.

This will be quite an opposite trajectory for the character, which has by far been the one to influence his buddy Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) that they should work with the Legends. Arrowverse reported.

Now that Heat Wave has reconciled with the idea of being a team player with a bit of a nudge from Captain Cold through hallucinations, the tables will be turned when he joins up with the bad guys.

Miller said that when the show picks up, the Legion will be getting Captain Cold from an earlier timeline before he even got involved with the Legends. This means that he will be a "straight up villain" which his friends will have a hard time wrapping their head around.

According to Miller, the interaction between his and Purcell's character will be something to look forward to because of they are meeting from different points in their life as heroes and villains.

He however, cautioned that the Legion, composed of Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) will not feel like they have won a prize with Cold on their team because he's bound to be a handful, reported EW.

"What I can tell you is that Snart is not used to taking orders. He's not a team player. That was certainly his story the first season on Legends, so I expect fireworks. I look forward to it," he said.
