Attack On Titan is probably one of the most popular Anime right now. There is a TV Series, a game, two movies, one live action TV spinoff, and an on-going manga under its name. What it might add with this collection? American adaptation.

According to Deadline, Warner Bros is planning to adopt an American Version of the Japanese Manga "Attack On Titan written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. "Harry Potter" and and "Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them" producer David Heyman is said to handle the project once the featured rights are acquired. With the not-so-good reputation of the American adaptation of Anime, what are we gonna expect?

If you are unfamiliar with Attack On Titan's story (and I don't know any reason why you should not), it is about the story of Eren Jaegar and his friends and all the humans trapped inside a tall wall that shields them from wandering titans. Set in the post-apocalyptic world, there are creatures which are called Titans, and they are gigantic creatures that feasts in human flesh. After joining the "Scouting Legion" to kill all the Titans, Eren, together with his friends will slowly discover the truth about the titans and how can Eren transform into one. Conspiracies, corruption, betrayal, and deaths; these are the spices that complete Attack On Titan's recipe.

If Warner Bros successfully acquired the right to adopt this Anime into a movie, the next announcement that we need to wait is the casting. There are a lot of suggestions from the internet community about who would play who if an American adaptation will be made. An excellent suggestion would be Patrick Stewart playing the role of Pixis, Chris Evans playing the role of Erwin Smith, and Logan Lerman playing the role of Eren. You can see the list here and see for yourself if these are accurate.
