It's good news. "Destiny 2" finally has a release date and it will be launched this year. The makers of "Destiny 2" have also informed that it will have updates and in-game events and this will include a fresh batch of hotfixes.

According to a report in Mobile & Apps, Bungie said that the developers are constantly creating and releasing updates. In that case, it means that there will be more for this game. However, it's to be seen how the game will change its course. It has added to a lot of mystery after Activision was quoted saying that it desires to increase the appeal of the game.

The Bungie team was quoted saying on their website that they are all ears and are listening to whatever the fans have to say about the game. They also informed that they knew that New Year will bring about a lot of questions regarding the game.

The company also disclosed that the hotfix has arrived on January 7. The arrival of hotfixes will likely solve the issues the players have been going through ever since the launch of December's 2.5.0 patch.

More good news follows. The company also announced that the Iron Banner event is all set to make a comeback to "Destiny". That's not the end of the story. It is set to introduce brand new features such as 'Clash'.

To add more fun to the game and make it more interesting for the gamers, a variation of Team Deathmatch is also on the cards where the players will be able to use foreign-looking arms in a war. The Iron Banner, which started on January 17, will eventually end on January 24.

According to a report in Daily Star, the Bungie team is working hard under the leadership of "Destiny": The Taken King creative director Luke Smith. Yet, the developer is also recruiting new staff to work on the game in several important departments.  So, the team is on the lookout for a narrative director, live narrative director and a new head of narrative development.
