An image of the upcoming LG G6 has been leaked online while more rumors regarding its other features and specs continue to surface. One fact that came out recently and seems to be true is that the G6 will be released in February.

The leaked image shows that the LG G6 will be having the minimal bezels. In fact, its screen-to-bezel ratio is also rumored to be more than 90 percent. However, the display will measure 5.7 inches with a 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution plus curved display corners.

The LG G6 will be made of glass and metal, which means LG will no longer go for the modular design and that the device will be water-resistant. Another rumor states that instead of building its own sub-par virtual assistant, LG has in fact turned to Google for help as the device will come with a buit-in Google Assistant, which was previously exclusive to Google's own Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones

After a render for the Samsung Galaxy S8 was leaked, case maker Ghostek did the same with LG. This time, Ghostek has showed an LG G6 encased in one of its products, GSM Arena reported. The leaked images show that the G6 will be thinner than before and will not have any camera bumps. The fingerprint scanner is situated just right under the dual camera arrangement like the design of its predecessors.

The LG G6 has long been rumored to run the Snapdragon 835, but according to Forbes, it is confirmed that the device will have the Snapdragon 821 chip instead, which is due to Samsung holding the rights to be the first one to release a device with the new processor.

For the release, the LG G6 will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. LG is scheduled to hold a press conference on Feb. 26 during which the Korean company is said to officially announce the G6. The company has already given out press invites to its 12:00 (local time, Barcelona) event which tells everyone to expect to "See More, Play More".
