In the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 9, the Winchester brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) needs to break free, but not from any devil spell rather from a maximum-security prison.

In season 12 episode 9 called "First Blood," the two were jailed for trying to kill the President of the United States. Mary with Dean's partner and half-angel ally Castiel (Misha Collins) worry about the fate of the two hunters who have been missing for "6 weeks, 2 days and 10 hours," according to the official trailer released by CW.

Both Mary and Castiel attempted to rescue the Winchesters before its too late, according to ET. However, their attempt failed when a fleet of operatives cornered them. This could mean two things, Sam and Dean will be able to successfully escape on their own or that an unlikely ally will step up to rescue the Winchester brothers along with Mary and Castiel as well.

The two were seen locked in separate jail cells. Being the hunter and risk takers themselves, the promo shows Sam and Dean's attempt to break free from the maximum-security prison.

At the end of the trailer, although it appears that Sam and Dean are winning against the prison guards, it doesn't mean that they're safe and that they managed to break free. The brothers have a long history of combating devils in hell, monsters, and other entities but escaping a man-made maximum-security prison guarded by humans is a first for the duo.

On January 26, the good-looking on-screen siblings Sam and Dean Winchester and their TV show Supernatural return on air with a different timeslot. The CW series moves to 8:00 pm. Will they survive? Will they be able to come out alive? Supernatural fans need to watch to find out.
