GameStop has recently made the coveted NES Classic Edition console available in bundles on 25 January 2017. However it didn't take long before they were sold out. Customers actually did not mind the extra dollars that the Nintendo Mini bundles carried.

As per GameSpot, the rare NES Classic Edition micro console was on sale at GameStop this week. However, it the amount of stock was also said to be somewhat restricted.

On Wednesday morning, as promised, GameStop reopened orders for three NES Classic Edition bundle with the note that they will not begin the shipping until February 1st. This will be more or less a preorder, as the product will not begin shipping immediately, reports BGR

GameStop has made its NES Classic Edition bundles available through its website at 11:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday and all bundles were on pre-order status. GameStop, however, noted that they were set to start shipping on February 1. Three kinds of Nintendo Mini bundles were made available by GameStop on the Wednesday.

The most affordable was the NES Classic Edition with Miniboss Wireless Controller, priced at US$79.99. According to Yahoo, the Miniboss bundles were sold out in just 30 minutes and the other two, Nintendo Mini Zelda Bundle and the straightforward NES Classic Edition Bundle, priced at US$124.99 and US$129.99 respectively, were gone after an hour and 20 minutes of availability.

There's no word still on when GameStop plans to restock Nintendo's sought-after gaming system. Back in December, the Nintendo Classic Mini also didn't last long when Target Australia had restocked the console. Target has began selling the in-demand console on December 12 at 8:00 a.m. AEDT on its online store and the massive amount of traffic followed, which actually crashed the site.

The NES Classic Edition has become a target of hacking due to its inability to provide extra games. About a couple of weeks ago, a YouTuber with the username Bakke had showed off his Nintendo Mini that had 84 games in a video he uploaded.
