The recently leaked photos from benchmark and system information application CPU-Z has revealed the specifications and features of the highly anticipated Moto G5 Plus smartphone ahead of MWC.

The images reveal that the Moto G5 Plus will have a 5.5 inches full-HD display with a 403ppi pixel density, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, which has been recently used on lots of smartphones including Lenovo P2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

The smartphone will also feature 4GB RAM and will be packed with 16GB and 32GB storage option. The Moto G5 Plus is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat, with the device camera sporting a 5-megapixel front camera, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 3,080mAh battery.

Furthermore, the Moto G5 Plus has successfully passed through Indonesian certification site with reports claiming that the model number is Moto XT1685. The leaked specifications and features of the upcoming device tally with the earlier rumored details, Gadgets reports.

Another leaked press render last week alleged that Moto G5 Plus will feature a circular camera panel at the back and will have a fingerprint scanner in front below the display, with the Moto "M" logo expected to be placed below the circular Moto G5 Plus camera panel at the back.

The press render also claimed that the new Moto G5 Plus will shade a Silver color variant and that the Moto G5 Plus was recently listed by a Romanian website and was up for sale at RON 1,650 - approximately Rs. 26,500. But, the device listing was removed soon after the news went viral, suggesting that the details might be not true.

It has been rumored that the device will be launched in March, which coincides with the earlier March 8 speculation, but the March launch could also mean that the developer would make the smartphone official at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017).

It is also reported that Lenovo is planning to launch the Moto G5 along with the Moto G5 Plus. According to reports, the device will not feature a fingerprint sensor. The device will have a 5.5 inches Full HD display and will be powered by an octa-core processor, with a turbo charging support. The Moto G5 will also have a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel main camera with 16GB storage, according to BGR.

GSMArena have also reported that the Moto X that leaked recently, could actually have been the Moto G5 Plus all this while. The report is pretty convincing as the leaked renders of the two smartphones looks dramatically similar.

Fans are expecting the upcoming Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones to launch at Lenevo's February 26, MWC 2017 event.
