On January 26, Google announced the launch of updated Version 56 of its ultra-popular browser 'Chrome' with most needed updates and improvements.

The freeware Google Chrome was first released in 2008 in competition with Microsoft's internet explorer. Chrome was initially released only for Microsoft windows but now it is compatible with all platforms.

Although, browsing speed depends on internet connection and system specifications but Google tests have proved that the pages will be loading 28% faster with version 56 of Google Chrome browser. Considerable changes to Chrome's internal functions called 'Validation' have been introduced.

Digitaltrends reported that version 56 of Google Chrome changes the need of validation by making it dependent on main resources. Previously, page loading was dependent on hundreds of requests to different networks including the already staled contents.

Improvements made to the 'stale content case feature' would simplify and improve the reload function which increase browsing speed and makes the reuse of cached resources more efficient.

Now, there is no need for Chrome to validate each and every part of the content. This new feature speeds up the reload and refresh functions of browser Chrome V56.

Another upgrade is lower data consumption in Version 56 of the updated Google Chrome. Chrome has started flagging HTTP pages that contain sensitive information like passwords, bank account details and other confidential files.

However, Google has admitted that HTTP insecurity warning system is not totally correct and some security warnings are in-appropriate. According to stateschronicle, around 63% of population use Google Chrome around the World and generally it has 51 % usage.

Encryption of sensitive information and use of camera and microphones are made easy in the updated version of Chrome V56. Protection and security of sensitive information is always the first priority of Google.

In this regard, Google has advised developers and administrators to prioritize the security of their users and customers. Google is paying 53,857 US$ to security researchers and fixed 51 bugs and security errors in Google Chrome version 56.
