OnePlus 3T vs Google Pixel XL Dash Charging Test: Car Charging Comparison Video

OnePlus 3T also supports Dash charge feature, just like OnePlus 3, which improves the charging capabilities of the handset. Now a YouTube video rock bottom the charging capabilities of the OnePlus 3T against the Google Pixel XL to reveal to consumers on which of the two Android- smartphones is equipped with faster charging support.

The OnePlus have eroded the OnePlus 3T's Dash charge against the USB-C Power Delivery of Google Pixel XL.  The video with the title "OnePlus 3T - Power up your commute with Dash Charge" has been produced and shared by OnePlus on YouTube. "Can Dash Charge deliver a day's power in half an hour during our commute? The Dash Car Charger races against the Google Pixel's Fast Charging technology on our way to work!" was mentioned in the video's description.

In the video released by OnePlus the At the end of a half-hour drive, the OnePlus 3T gone from 1% to 57% battery life using Dash Charge, which should be enough power for the phone to run for the rest of the day. However, the Pixel XL had its battery life extended from 1% to 21% in 30-minutes, declining far short of the performance that is achieved by the OnePlus 3T and Dash Charge, as per Phone Arena. The video test reaffirms OnePlus' claims that with Dash charge, one gets a day's worth power in half an hour.

The OnePlus 3T doesn't heat up much while being charged but the Pixel XL usually does. In addition, devices lean to heat up more when being used for navigation, so the temperature rise on the Pixel XL may have strangled its charging speeds, thus the much slower rate.

Rapid charging at present has become a major feature on high-end smartphones like the OnePlus 3T. Most handset manufacturers are using a high voltage charger to power up the down battery, and while this does make charging faster, it also warms up the phone that expands charging times.

OnePlus' Dash Charge, on the other hand, uses a different method. Dash Charge increases the amperage that allows the charger to carry more current to the cell. This charges the battery even faster than the high voltage chargers. Hence, the OnePlus 3T on Dash Charge will generate enough battery life in a 30-minute commute to last entire day.
