‘GTA 5’ Online DLC Could Introduce New Map Next Month

A "GTA 5" DLC is said to be coming next month. Apparently, there are reports circulating that say Rockstar North will be pulling off a Valentine surprise with another upcoming update still unannounced until now.

But everything should be taken with a grain of salt. At the moment Rockstar Games has not yet revealed what "GTA 5" DLC, if any, could be released next.

Yet, rumors are persistent that indeed one is on the way. This time, Express reported that a new "GTA 5" update will be released by February, around the Valentines Day.

On the other hand, there are fans who believe that the upcoming "GTA 5" online update or DLC could be coming a little later. For instance, iTechPost believes that the rumored update could arrive not on February but by March this year.

Nevertheless, it appears that both publication agree that it is still uncertain if it will be a minor update or the rumored much bigger "GTA 5" online DLC. But if speculations are to be believed, the upcoming expansion could once again offer a new map with it.

Express cited a source names Yan2295 who said that Rockstar North is allocating its limited resources at the moment. The developer has divided its manpower into four teams working on different projects.

One team is in charge with San Diego RDR2. Another group is said to be working on an the next project of the franchise though it is yet unclear if this project is the rumored "GTA 6," while a third group is working on another game. Lastly, a relatively small group is assigned to "GTA Online."

The information should suggest that the upcoming "GTA 5" Online update might not be as big in scope as the Import/Export DLC released late last year. Indeed, the Import/Export DLC was rumored to be the last DLC but, due to the popularity of "GTA Online," Rockstar changed its strategy and decided to rollout additional updates.
