During this time, the fans will be surprised and shocked to learn that the developers have planned a special event.

Niantic is planning to "something big". It's also reported that the "Pokemon Go" update will also be released soon. According to Mic, Next "Pokemon Go" update migh come on 1 April. Now, though there's no such update on the kind of features it will have alongside the updated version, there's enough buzz around the upcoming version.

So, as the millions of users of "Pokemon Go" wait for the arrival of "Gen 2 Pokemon" and Legendaries, it's being reported that Niantic is planning a remarkable event for April Fools' Day.

According to an article in Express, where it has quoted Slashgear, the event might see a ton of Magikarp added to the wild. A post read that one should look forward to Pokemon Medals on April Fool's Day.
