Nina Dobrev Confirms Return In 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8, Delena Or Stelena Possible?

Nina Dobrev is officially back in "The Vampire Diaries." The "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" star shares a snapshot of her with "TVD" co-star Paul Wesley, prompting the rumors that Stelena's reunion might be the show's finale.

After leaving the show that catapulted her career to fame for two full seasons, Nina Dobrev is finally back in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Her anticipated return is good news for fans who have been longing for her presence.

"I'm thrilled to bring this show to an end the way we always intended - with Nina back to help us say goodbye," Julie Plec said in a statement, The Sun reported. The "The Vampire Diaries" creator Kevin Williamson added that he is excited to have Nina Dobrev back in the series' finale.

Without further ado, the "Flatliners" star Nina Dobrev confirmed this on her Instagram account. She shared a snapshot of "The Vampire Diaries" script printed with her name on it.

In a separate post, Williamson shared a snapshot of him with Dobrev and Wesley. The said post received tons of comments about the anticipated Delena reunion.While there are viewers rooting for Stelena, more are hoping to see the exes Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder ending the series with Delena's romance.

Insider is also hoping to see Nina Dobrev's Elena and Somerhalder's Damon giving the "The Vampire Diaries" a kiss-in-the-rain scene. It is still difficult to say how things will turn. It's possible to see a Delena or Stelena moments. On the other hand, it is also possible to see Elena on her own when the series ends.

In an interview before, Ian Somerhalder wishes to give the series a brotherly ending. He wants to leave Elena on her own because he believes that the Salvatore brothers have brought too much pain and trouble to the original "The Vampire Diaries" protagonist.
