Exciting things are definitely up ahead for "Total War: Warhammer" gamers. Aside from the highly anticipated Bretonnia DLC, developer Creative Assembly recently announced Terry, the newest feature to be added to the strategy title.

In a post at the Total War forums, the developer announced the addition of a battle map editing "Total War: Warhammer" feature. Affectionately called "Terry," the feature is scheduled to arrive by the end of February.

However, gamers using Steam will be able to access the "Total War: Warhammer" Terry beta now, as long as they are using Windows 10. But Creative Assembly assures that while the beta is only accessible for Windows 10 users, the battle map editing feature will also run on Windows 7 and 8 platforms when it finally releases.

The new "Total War: Warhammer" feature will be able to edit multiplayer and custom maps. In addition, players will have A.I. hints to assist them as well as vegetation and texture terrain painting. Players may also assign no-go regions and do extensive terraforming work.

"Total War: Warhammer" players may share custom maps with other players via the Steam workshop. Maps may be saved either by subscribing to the workshop or manually placing them in the data folder of the game.

Unfortunately, there is just one limitation for Terry. Apparently, the "Total War: Warhammer" editing feature will not work on campaign modes, reports GamesnAnime. While this is totally feasible, Creative Assembly would rather use the resources to develop the next Total War game instead of fine-tuning a mere feature.

Another highly-anticipated "Total War: Warhammer" update is the DLC that would upgrade Bretonnia into a fully-playable race. While Creative is yet to announce a definite release date for the new update, most gamers believe that the Bretonnia pack will be available by February or March this year.
