'Avengers 3: Infinity War' Update: Tom Holland Might Have Confirmed Spider-Man’s Appearance

Although Marvel Studios have not disclosed any official information about the appearance of Peter Parker (Spider-Man) in "Avengers 3: Infinity War," it seems Tom Holland has already confirmed his involvement in the upcoming chapter. Holland, gave the strongest hint on a Livestream, that he is currently filming scenes but it is not clear if he will team up with Tony Stark (Robert Downey) in the battle against Thanos.

However, as Tony Stark already clarified, Spider-Man is not exactly a member of "The Avengers," but he has fought with and against them in "Captain America: Civil War." Hence, it will not be surprising if he battles alongside the avengers again next year.

The 20-year-old British actor almost revealed his next movie. He said, "We're obviously working on... maybe I cannot say this live? Oh, I can? People know, right? What we are here for?"

He then continued to say with a guilty feeling that he has revealed to fans what he is doing and then cut the live feed before he further admits to anything that will get him in trouble, Express reports Marvel studios have been secretive about information on the upcoming movie.

Holland may have confirmed his involvement in the upcoming movie during an interview with Italian Vogue. The young actor, in the relevant part of the write-up, thanked "Thor" star, Chris Hemsworth, for vouching for him, Chris Evans and Robert Downey also aided him land the role, according to Comicbook.

He also revealed that the people behind the blockbuster superhero movies wanted to make sure that the actor is right for the part and that it is not surprising considering how he will appear in various movies in the coming years. Although, Holland explicitly said Avengers: Infinity War is included in his deal with marvel studios, Marvel Entertainment is yet to confirm his appearance in the 2018 movie.

It has also been reported that the upcoming third chapter of the movie will feature over 64 comic book characters including popular heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy as well as characters that appeared in the previous chapter of the movie.

It has also been rumored that even characters that have died will make their way back to "Avengers 3: Infinity War." Casting for new characters is still on-going as filming begins in Atlanta. The upcoming superhero movie will be directed by the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo. "Avengers 3: Infinity War" will hit theaters May 4, 2018.
