"The 100" just returned for its new run. According to reports, "The 100" Season 4 will continue the power struggles and apocalypse fans witnessed in the last season.

In its premiere episode, "The 100" featured a poor girl burn alive on the other side of the world. EP Jason Rothenberg preferred to include that particular scene to show the audience how bad fire can be.

Those events are a great teaser to show the audience what waits ahead for the heroes in the future episodes. At the time they have six months before the meltdown of the Earth. The audience will witness the ticking off the clock until the end of the world.

E! News reported that "The 100" Season 4 will continue the unsettled issues in the last season. This includes the power struggles among the clans and the end of the world issue that will jibe with the end of the season.

"From beginning to end, we feel that, and it's harder and harder to breathe, and it's harder and harder to live, and it's harder and harder to escape the reality that this death wave is coming as the season progresses," Rothenberg said. "That was sort of the bigger plan for the season: one story, told from beginning to end."

Meanwhile, given that "The 100" Season 4 is so brutal, viewers are wondering who will make it in the next season. Inverse suggested some characters who have the least chances of surviving this season's apocalypse.

Per the report, Devon Bostick's Jasper is a dead-end character, so he might be axed. Meanwhile, Chelsey Reist's Harper might also bid goodbye for good. If this happens, her death will be one of the mid-level deaths that usually happens every season.

Murphy played by Richard Harmon is in a great state today. His character has been redeemed and he is in a great relationship. His death will be a warrant this season.

Zac McGowan's King Roan is the main powerhouse in Polis but since power is not stable in "The 100," he might be next on line. Paige Turco's Abby is a significant character and his death would be a gut-punch, which make sense if she gets killed.
