Nintendo NES Classic is a hit in the market. According to reports, it already sold 1.5 million. There is already a shortage of the fast-selling product and the company apologizes. However, they are already working on increasing their production.

Nintendo's NES Classic Edition is a mini version of the original NES released in 1985. The great thing about this device is that you can just plug in into your TV and in instant, you can enjoy NES games.

It comes with its own "original" controller to allow you to play NES games the way they are meant to be played. The controller is also usable with NES Virtual Console games on your Wii or Wii U via Wii Remote controller.

Perhaps, due to its versatility and flexibility, it becomes an instant hit with video gamers. BGR reported that the Nintendo NES Classic Edition had already sold 1.5 million across the globe. In November alone it already sold 196,000 units.

The said console is already hard to find that some fans have become frustrated to its shortage already. Due to this, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima issued an apology.

"We apologize to our consumers and retail partners for the inconvenience caused by product shortages," Kimishima said. "Some parts require time to procure, but we are working to increase production. We also see the nostalgic interest in these products as an opportunity to draw consumers' attention to our latest game system, Nintendo Switch."

It turns out that NES Classic Edition is more popular than expected that even Nintendo was caught off guard. At the time, the demand for NES CE remains high. For those who are so eager to buy this console used NES Classic Edition is priced at $130.
