'The Walking Dead' Season 7B Spoilers: Morgan To Betray Rick, Sasha To Die?

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 midseason finale has hinted that a major war is set to happen for the combined forces of the Hilltop Colony, Alexandria and the Kingdom as they rise up against Negan and his Saviors but it seems that Rick's "family" might not be completely supportive of his mutiny. Surprisingly, it might be his oldest friend who turns against him.

According to a Comic Book interview with Lennie James, who plays Morgan in the series, it could turn out that Rick's constant ally from way back in Season One could cost him the alliance with King Ezekiel's The Kingdom. It can be recalled that since reuniting with his friend in the back half of Season 5, Morgan has been constantly challenging Rick's principle of killing people who threaten the safety of his community.

"There are some people who go to the dark side who are going to take you by surprise, and there are some people who are going to come over to the light - and that's all a matter of perspective," he hinted, leading fans to believe that he may be referring to his own character.

Meanwhile, speculations are also rife that Sasha, the character played by Sonequa Martin-Green, could also be in danger of being killed off by the show. It can be recalled that the character has had a tendency of acting reckless when faced with the demise of the people she loved -- her brother Tyreese, her ex boyfriend Bob and most recently Abraham, who was famously killed off by Negan in the first episode of the Season 7 right before he bashed Glenn's head in.

Rumors have been circulating about the possibility ever since the actress was confirmed to join the cast of CBS All Access' "Star Trek: Discovery" show but it was her statement to Entertainment Weekly. According to the actress, Sasha will be dead set on destrying Negan and avenging Abraham that it will become very difficult to get her on a group plan to take him down. The fact that Sasha has no respect for Negan and the power that he wields will also put her in even more danger.

The Walking Dead Season 7B returns to AMC on February 12.
