Shakira, Nicky Jam Top The List For Billboard Latin Music Awards 2017

The 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards will go live on air on April 27, 2017. This time, lead runners are Shakira and Nicky Jam. With glooming Latin music market, single performers are trending in the music industry. Billboard Latin Music Awards is distributed annually in different categories to music stars of Latin music.

Forbes reported that Billboard Latin Music Awards are decided after a long session of several days in Miami. The conference takes all the aspects of Latin music performers into notice. This time Shakira and Nicky Jam are going to the victory stand of Billboard Latin Music Awards.

This is the first time that Nicky Jam has been nominated for the Billboard Latin Music Awards. His single hit "Hasta el Amanecer" was declared the digital song of the year. Nicky Jam was also the nominee of the tremendous "Artist Of The Year" award.

According to the official website of Billboard, top finalists include Nicky Jam and Shakira for the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2017. Shakira alone has been nominated in categories including Best Social Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Song of the year (2 nominations), Female Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Airplay Song of the Year, Digital Song of the Year, Latin Pop Song of the Year and Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year.

Nicky Jam has been nominated in 9 categories. Nicky Jam on the Billboard Latin Music award list leads the categories of 'Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Song of the Year, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Airplay Song of the Year, Digital Song of the Year, Streaming Song of the Year, Latin Pop Song of the Year, Latin Rhythm Song of the Year and Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year.

Shakira has won more than 10 Billboards Music awards previously including Grammy Awards,  American Music Awards and MTV awards.
