'The Walking Dead' Spoilers: Season 7 Resumes, Major Character Might Die On "Joyful Rebellion"

"The Walking Dead" season 7 will now resume after the mid-season hiatus. So far, the first half introduced new communities and new characters. Rick will be seen taking over Alexandria to lead them the war vs. Negan. Is there going to be a death of a major character?

In a zombie-apocalypse, danger for everyone must be expected. On the other hand, in a "The Walking Dead" zombie-apocalypse, actors that booked another leading role were killed off (Jon Bernthal when he got to TNT's "Mob City"). The same fate is possible for Sasha, as reported by Hollywood Reporter, Sonequa Martin-Green has been casted on "Star Trek: Discovery".

Also, Danai Gurira which plays Michonne is doing "Black Panther" so the possibility of her character's death is also there. ChandlerisRiggs is going to college but hopefully, he is living near the set location so it is not great of a chance that his character in "The Walking Dead" die.

But enough with the character deaths. Fans might see a "joyful rebellion". "The Walking Dead" Showrunner Scott Gimple with his interview on TVLine says "But there are moments where the characters smile - where Rick smiles! - which is an incredible thing!". It seems like it is now the time that Rick and all Alexandrians will fight the Negan and stand for what they believe.

"I always knew that these characters and the audience would have to go through something hard," he continues, "but they're all heroes. Even the audience is heroes. They're going through the journey, too, and I want them to be able to feel that energy about being able to do something finally, too."

With the revelation of the spy on Alexandria last midseason finale, it is safe to say that things will get bad. And with Gimple giving a hint by using "they" in his statement pertaining to the spy, things might get from bad to worse. It is on high percentage that there will be a "The Walking Dead" major character death, as seen on the interesting picture below, a teaser image from AMC.
